    Liberia 1892, .00 hippo, perforated 12.5 color trial printer's sample stamp (to showcase the printing prowess of Waterlow), WATERLOW & SONS LTD. SPECIMEN overprint. Two types of SPECIMEN overprints exist for this value. this example is the the type where the "o" of "sons" falls almost directly over the "n" of "specimen"(Scott no. 47). The specimen is without gum as issued.
