    Sanyo Line
    rail
    journey as seen from the train car windows
    of 365-miles along the Island Sea between Kyoto and Shimonoseki, Japan.  It consists of six artistic city-to-city segment maps as follows:
    Kyoto - Osaka - Kobe
    Kobe - Akashi - Himeii - Okayama
    Okayama - Kurashiki - Fukuyama
    Fukuyama - Mihara - Hiroshima
    Hiroshima - Tokuyama
    Tokuyama - Shimonoseki
    Interestingly, areas along the route are marked as military Fortified Zones wherein photography or sketching was strictly forbidden.
    Informative as to tourist things to see and do.  Detailed page of ticket fares, meals and charges.
    Excellent for historical references with photographs.
    Beautiful cover artwork in vibrant colors.
