    Description

    One souvenir card from Shanghai's famous Oriental Pearl Tower, c.1998. Just look at that picture of the tower, and how empty the surrounding Pudong neighborhood is. Photo was taken only a few years after they moved the shipyards and factories out and started building up the mud flats into the luxury zone it is today.
